ok so world cup is up and kickin', the whole world is watchin. in fact, we'll be keepin the telly runnin' in the background for the next month here in our nyc office. (buzz buzz buzz go the horns, how annoying).
Anyway, can we address this FIFA World Cup South Africa identity for a second? Oy, so Lion King. I mean it already says South Africa and we all know it, but look at that typeface! At one point it goes on a blue plank of wood. Even the set of the pre-match commentators have all these plants and shit in the background. How about making it cool and awesome instead of defaulting to African tribalness? Shouldn't it be all about progression? Oh well. Whatever.
